Roy,

you might try to mount the partitions via the automount mechanism.
In the case a backup requests a partition (perhaps you must include the
paths in your save set list if the save set All doesn`t do it), the
automountd will mount it and the data will be available for backup.

If you don't want to do this, look for "savepnpc" in the Legato docs to
understand precommands.
