Is there a way to simultaneously scan two tapes at once using the
scanner command? The jukebox we have has two tape drives and it is able
to write to two tapes at the same time, so is it logical to think it can
scan two tapes at once, or is this just wishful thinking? We're running
Solaris 9, NW 6.1.Build.186. I am trying to restore a bunch of save
sets, of which, all but one are on one tape. My scanner command for
using one tape drive looks something like:

scanner -q -S <ssid> -S <ssid>.../dev/rmt/0cbn -x uasm -rv -m <mapped
directory>

Thanks for any help!
Mary-Charles
