length of path is almost certainly the problem
from a previous answer by Hrvoje Crvelin <hcrvelin AT ORCHESTRA DOT DE>

Hi,

To add (from Legato docs for 7.1, but there are entries for earlier
versions too):

NetWorker software supports a maximum path length of 260 characters on
Windows. The
NetWorker software cannot back up paths that are longer than 260
characters. For a
workaround, refer to Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q180410, Cannot
Access Folder
Because the Path Is Too Long or Deep.

Note: Backups with VSS enabled will have a shorter path length
limitation.
Note: Backups with VSS enabled will have a shorter pathname limitation
depending on the
hardware or software snapshot provider.

Cheers,
Hrvoje
