Has really no one seen this before?

/usr/sbin/nsrim -X

I see several clients renamed from foo to ~foo-1

Output for one client as example:

rman1:/, 1 browsable cycle(s)
20647 browsable files of 20647 total, 576 MB recoverable of 576 MB total

~rman1-1:/, 1 browsable cycle(s)
22043 browsable files of 22043 total, 332 MB recoverable of 332 MB total

I have, but only under certain hard-to-duplicate circumstances. For
us, it involved a 5.x client and a 5.x server, the client was later
deleted, the server was later upgraded to 6.x, and then we tried to
recreate the client to get data back off a clone tape.

The problem was that the client ID hadn't been converted to the v6 format,
because the client didn't exist when the server was upgraded. Some of
the things Legato had me try resulted in the ~ at the beginning of the
client name.

Legato support can probably provide more information about it.
