I have 2 500GB Disk Devices on a dual pathed 2GB CX600.  I get 25-30 mb/sec
reads when staging to LTO2 tape.  I can get the same speed with writes if I
throw enough streams at it.  My setup is well documented in the NETWORKER-L
archives if you want details.  Also consider the compressasm can have
tremendous inmapcts on the throughput depending upon the files being backed
up.

What is the size of your disk device, and what speeds are you seeing? Ours
is Networker 7.1.1 on Clarion CX700 on 1GB LAN and SAN connected, but the
data rates are less than what we see on Tapes...
