Hi guys,
We plan to migrate from a 6.0 windows server to a 7 unix
server. In order to do this the windows server is expected to
live up to the retention of actual tapes with one dlt drive,
whereas the new server will start from scratch ( same client,
pool configuration ) with the STK autochanger formely plugged
onto windows.
As far as i know, index migration is not easy from windows to
unix ( endian PB ??? ), but can the scanner of "old" tapes
rebuild the index on unix side.
Thanks a lot
