Is there anyone out there running Networker on an HP/Compaq Proliant
Server using an HP/Compaq SCSI controller to control the tape drives and
the Jukebox?

My current config has an Adaptec controller and I've been having
intermittent issues with tape drives and I'm starting to wonder if it's
3rd party controller.

I'm curious as to what HP/Compaq controller I should be using for this
particular task, as I've read that the best luck with HP/Compaq Prolaint
servers is gained when using HP/Compaq controllers.

Any insight would be helpful at this point.

My config is as follows

Backup Server:
Compaq Proliant DL380G2 / 1024MB RAM / Win2k Advanced Server / Networker
6.2 /
Adaptec 29160 Ultra SCSI Controller connected to an ADIC Robot and 2
SDLT 220 Tape drives

Storage Node:
Compaq Proliant DL380G1 / 1024MB RAM / Red Hat 7.3 / Networker 6.1.2 /
Adaptec 29160 Ultra SCSI Controller connected to 2 SDLT 220 Tape Drives
that are inside the ADIC Jukebox.

Thanks,
Paul C.
