well, I did not say it is reliable indication but I saw no alternative.
And btw, since we use nw7.1.2 (solaris) I saw a lot of messages, notice,
warnings
and errors, posted towards the daemon.log. All very detailed and comfortable to
interprete, and I have at least the opinion that the output of networker in
the
daemon.log becomes more trusty.
