Just as an FYI, setting savegroup parallelism to 0 on all savegroups
fixed my problem.

For the record, I've seen savegroup parallellism related issues in our
7.1.2 environment as well. We previously had a savegroup parallellism of
1
set for our NDMP group, since we only have one drive assigned for NDMP
backups. After upgrading to 7.1.2, we had to change this to 0, in order
to
get the group running in time.

Anybody with more information on this?
