When you post a question about NetWorker, it helps to explain which
version you are using and the hardware you are running it on.

Why do you feel the need to shut down NetWorker? What are you trying to
achieve by shutting down the NetWorker daemons?

Have you tried erasing the files in /nsr/tmp before you restart NetWorker
after you reinstalled it? There might be a stray file in /nsr/tmp that's
causing problems. Without knowing anything about your NetWorker
configuration, that's all I can say at this time.
