Is anyone else receiving this message over and over?
I have been receiving this same message over and over every 30 minutes for
the last 12 hours...  Weird.

According to the AlphaStor Administrator Guide on p. 115, AlphaStor ". . .
may be set up to allow AlphaStor to allocate drives for special uses such as
tar, dd, etc."  So, I believe that you can use AlphaStor to share devices
among several applications.
