Hi There,

The process that get's run and spawned doesnt inherit your user's variables
(from the OS), so you have to manually in the nsrsapsv.cfg specify your
system variables.

I normally just make note of all the variables (type set from cmd line to
see them) and add them ...

This should point you in a better direction.

I'm running Networker v7.1 and SAP on Oracle module to backup SAP
data. There're 3 configuration files that I was edited :
/var/nsr/nsrsapsv.cfg
/oracle/Q88/920_64/dbs/initQ88.sap; and
/oracle/Q88/920_64/dbs/initQ88.utl

But when running backup there are some problems occured :
- unable to open output file /oracle/Q88/920_64/sapbackup/backint.251379
  note :
  in initQ88.utl file there's been defined :
  backint_log = /var/nsr/applogs/backintQ88.log
  backint_tmpdir = /var/nsr/applogs
  and in initQ88.sap file there's been defined :
  backup_root_dir=/oracle/Q88/sapbackup
- and then I tried to create directory /oracle/Q88/920_64/sapbackup;
  backup process running but log files save in wrong directories.
  And there are some warning messages :
Warning: Unknown parameter backint_log
Warning: Unknown parameter backint_tmpdir
Warning: Unknown parameter ps_exclude_backup_bi_run_nums
Warning: Unknown parameter ps_exclude_archive_bi_run_numsi

Does anyone have any idea to solve that problems ?
