Why is it that often times (certainly not always) I see savesets with
the tail on one tape and the head on the another but no middle section?
In fact, it seems that it's normally either 'cr' or both an 'hr' and a
'tr' but don't see 'mr' too often. Can you have a tail and a head with
no middle? Seems odd. Maybe somebody can explain this? I mean what
exactly defines "middle" versus "tail". At what point is it considered a
"middle"? For one of our custom pools, I ran mminfo -vq 'pool=DB' and
last few entries look like this:

DB006 client1 05/21/04 11:52:26 20 GB 2921742593 hr
full
/vol19/oracle/ora_bkup/ora_bkup_20040501
DB006 client1 05/21/04 11:54:24 20 GB 2921742849 hr
full
/vol22/oracle/ora_bkup/ora_bkup_20040501
DB007 client1 05/21/04 11:52:26 20 GB 2921742593 tr
full
/vol19/oracle/ora_bkup/ora_bkup_20040501
DB007 client1 05/21/04 11:54:24 19 GB 2921742849 tr
full
/vol22/oracle/ora_bkup/ora_bkup_20040501

I know these are legit, but just never thought before about the fact
that I seldom see 'mr' values so got curious.

Thanks.

George
