Scott,

The first thing I'd check here is whether your Oracle system has the Oracle
LSM installed and is conflicting with NetWorker. Get your Oracle DBA to
check this out - I'm thinking this was as you have *all* of the NetWorker
processes installed on "lawson" and the NMO doesn't appear to want to send
data out of the database server. The Oracle LSM is a cutdown version of the
NMO and NetWorker server which can only send data to a local tape drive. It
might be that old files from the LSM are conflicting with your new
installation causing weird things to happen!

If not, I'd still look to remove the unneeded NetWorker server installation
if for no other reason than to clean up the database server. Remove all
NetWorker packages (including NMO) and start again, just installing the
NetWorker client and NMO again.
