Erik,

The simplest way to do it from the client is to bring up the NetWorker User GUI 
on the client, select Backup and tag what you want, then click on the Start 
button.  You could also do this from the command line on the client by using 
the save command.  You'll need to check the man pages for the correct save 
syntax.
