Hello Networker Gurus,
I have a Networker 7.0 server performing backups of a Microsoft
Exchange 2000 server. Problem is, the Exchange server is running Symantec AV
for Exchange, version 3. This seems to be causing me extremely slow backups,
due to the exchange server virus scanning any message that gets touched by
Networker, and at the same time slows my exchange server to a crawl due to
the backups and virus scanning all occuring. Does anyone know how to setup
the client properties to run pre and post scripts on the exchange server to
stop the Symantec auto-protect services for while I perform my backup? I have
never scheduled pre and post scripts before. Thanks in advance!
