Hi,

I notice if I run 'nsrjb -Cv', I see long volume ids as opposed to the
short one. This volume id looks completely different from the normal,
short one you see if you don't use the 'v' option. I see nothing in
common.

Three questions:

1. How is this long value derived from the short one or vice versa? Are
they related?

2. What do all those '.' delimited sections of the long value mean? Does
NetWorker really need to track it to that level of precision?

3. Is there a way using mminfo that I can see the long volume ids? From
the man page, I see no way to do this, only the short format.

Thanks.

George
