Workaround for problem with labeled tapes having undefined volaccess
time

Installation guide :
Just replace the binary corresponding to the Op Sys you are running
the reporting utility from.
For Unix bin, do not forget to "chmod +x"' it ... :-)
Reports have also been received gnuplot to fail with following error on
Solaris 8 :
ld.so.1: ../bin/sun_solaris/gnuplot: fatal: relocation error: file
/opt/sfw/lib/libpng.so.2: symbol __register_frame_info: referenced
symbol not found
Dave Gold (Thanks, Dave !) provided a great workaround for gnuplot
issues:
Using Solaris 8, the version of gnuplot didn't work.
I did the following to fix it:
1. Download and install the current rev of gnuplot (SMCgnup) (3.7.1)
from sunfreeware and install it.
2. Download and install libpng 1.0.6 (SMClibpng) from sunfreeware, since
their version of gnuplot was complied with it...
3. Rename bin/sun_solaris/gnuplot to bin/sun_solaris/gnuplot.org
4. Set a link: ln -s /usr/local/bin/gnuplog bin/sun_solaris/gnuplot
5. Set LD_LIBRARY_PATH in shell file before running command.
Basically took your sample.bat, unix-fied it, then put the following
in front of your commands:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

I have received notifications NetWorker Reporter to crash with
Dump GET GET_TAPE VOLACCESS undefined YY -1880 MM -1 DD HH MM SS
This is NOT a problem with the -D flag. Reading the log, it is said that
Date VOLACCESS="undefined"
In fact, this problem is not a NetWorker Reporter bug but a Legato bug :
Labeled and unused tapes to have undefined volaccess time
reported by mminfo.
I will post a bypass to that problem but the REAL solution is to go to
7.1
or higher:
I can do a lot of things but I am also suffering of bugs afew people to
have noticed.
The problem is also present with NSR7.0 (initial release).
You can verify it by running a mminfo request like
# mminfo -a -r "volume,barcode,volaccess" |grep -i undef
I'll send an update with "workarounded" hot-fix loacation.
