The backup server is a part of the daily group with browse and retention = 3
weeks.

Settings Networker :

Monday group: Full monday, others days of week: skip

Client X                Browse: 3 weeks, Retention: 3 weeks
Client Y                        "               "       "
Client Z                        "               "
Backup server                   "               "       "

Thuesday group: Full thuesday, others days of week: skip

Client X                Browse: 3 weeks, Retention: 3 weeks
Client Y                        "               "       "
Client Z                        "               "       "
Backup server                   "               "       "

etc..... for the rest of the week

Monthly group: Full the last day of the month, skip others day of the month

Client X                Browse: 1 year, Retention: 1 year
Client Y                        "               "       "
Client Z                        "               "       "

To achieve what you want you will have to add to your specific group the
Networker server client with the appropriate browse and retention for the
group. If you do not want to actually backup the Networker server you can
provide it a schedule of "always skip". Itzik
