Ahhhhh.
If that is the case (KGPSA) then you are running the Emulex/Compaq "mini
port driver"
The miniport driver does not provide the capability to statically bind
devices.
To be able to use persistent binding you will have to use the full "port
driver" from Emulex.
It may be questionable if you can run this driver on the Compaq branded
Emulex!
