Not sure if this helps, but we use Emulex cards albeit in a Solaris/Linux
environment and in both cases there is an application called HPAnywhere (this
can be downloaded from www.emulex.com). There is also a utility called
lputil(64) installed as part of the core lpfc drivers. For solaris, these tools
effectively edit the /kernel/drv/lpfc.conf file - not sure of the equivalent in
IBM's case however. I notice that there doesnt appear to be a download for
HBanywhere for AIX, although lputil is downloadable from Emulex.
