I think you'd just need to sum up all the responses.  Something like
this..

# find total size for all savesets with any save date, and with any
level, from any client in group Default.

% mminfo -av -q 'group=Default' -r 'totalsize' | perl -lne '$sum+=$_;END{print 
$sum}'

My assumption is that this does not work for pre 6.x servers.  I don't
know if pre 6.x clients will report group information with the saveset.
I don't have any of those clients around to test.
