Hi!

Can anyone give me a working stinit.def for Linux that works with my
DLT8000's? Google knows very little, and the values that I have here do not
work, I am getting the famous "Cannot decode block. Verify the device
configuration. Tape positioning by record is disabled.".

Current settings are:

manufacturer=TANDBERG model="DLT8000" {
    buffer-writes read-ahead async-writes
    can-bsr compression scsi2logical drive-buffering
    timeout=9600
    long-timeout=14400
    # mode1 blocksize=0 density=0x41
    mode1 blocksize=0 density=0x88
    # compression=0
    buffering=1 async-writes=1 read-ahead=1
}

TIA!

Olaf
