While not exactly your specs, I have 2 IBM LTO2 drives in a Dell PowerVault
132T. The library is direct attached to a Windows 2003 Server via an
Adaptec 39160. I write all of my backups to Disk devices first and then
clone them to tape. I use the client compression asm to reduce traffic over
the wire, so the savesets are compressed on the disk devices. I get about
29MB per sec to each drive when writing from the disk device to the tapes.
