[Networker] Disabling scheduled/manual backups and recovers?
2004-01-28 03:51:10
A thing that struck me while taking a bath this morning is that I don't
know of a convenient way to disable all scheduled groups from starting
temporarily, and if there is a way to prevent manual backups/recovers as
well. I want to do this if I'm for instance doing changes that should be
done without having the server performing jobs at the time, f.ex. when I'm
doing a new inventory after doing things to my jukebox and/or media.
What's the best way of doing this? I still need full networker
functionality so that I can edit devices, configuration and doing
inventories etc.
If there isn't a conventient way of doing this, I'd like to request a
feature enhancement in networker that adds a maintenance yes/no option
below the server setup button in the admin GUI.
