You could try this - not sure if there is an error code 193 and I
haven't got an NT box to try it on...

On the NT box, get a command prompt (DOS box) and type...

net helpmsg 193

Should get more info on what that error is.

For example, you can often see lots of error 32's.  Basically that
means 'the file is open by another process', but it sometimes just gets
logged as (unknown error 32).

The question has been asked on the list before and got no answer :

Networker 6.0.1 on NT Server 4.0 SP6
All partitions on the server plus the client indexes fail with the
following message :
    save: unknown error 193 (0xc1)
Other machines backup normally (except for indexes)

savegrp -v on the command line gives the same result (error 193)

On the other hand, the save command on the server partitions completes
successfully.
