Yeah, we had similar issues with NW7.1. Our environment is as follows:
server: Solaris 8, NW7.1
client: win2k3, NW7.1
we made several backups (full/incr/incr/incr/etc) over the course of a few
days, then made an ASR disk. We then followed the procedure and actually
made an IP connection to the bkup server using the mini-client on the
floppy, and recovered full/incr of C:\, after which it simply hung.
THEN we read in the 7.1 release supplement that you can supposedly only do
ASR recovers between Windoze servers, not Win <-> UNIX. As this has been
filed as a Legato bug (by somebody else), I'm demanding a workable
resolution before I renew my support contract. :-)
