I just moved my Networker system to a new Sun 280R from an older Ultra
10.
Everything appears to have moved just fine (/nsr directory is on the san
so no copying needed, just unmount and remount /nsr directory on new
box).
The only issue I have is inquire shows way to many devices, in fact it
does not stop listed our storagetek L180 over and over again, this in
turn crashes jbconfig.
The StorageTek is connected to a Crossroads 10K SCSI/Fiber converter and
then into a Brocade switch.
My old host was working fine, I moved its Qlogic 2300 HBA to the new
machine so I could keep the WWN number and not have to rezone/etc. My
StorageTek has 4 SDLT drives and that's it.
SCSI ID has changed from [email protected] to [email protected] on the new
system.
System is Solaris 8 w/Networker 6.1.4
Things I have tried include uninstall/re-install of Qlogic drivers.
Installed latest Qlogic drivers (v4.13)
Checked st.conf for errors (Copied st.conf from old working server)
Downgraded my LGTOdrvr package to 6.1.3 to see if inquire output was any
different.
Checked SCSI ID mapping on Crossroads device (Looks fine..)
Rebooted Crossroads device
Touch /reconfigure and reboot (Many times..)
I'm really hoping someone has a suggestion of what to try next cause I'm
running out of ideas fast..
