What's the hardware on the Solaris side?  SCSI card or onboard?

The probe-scsi-all is handled by openfirmware.  The OS communication is
handled by Solaris drivers.

There's at least one Sun card out there today that is not supported by
the stock Solaris 8 installation.  You have to download a package with
the solaris drivers before the OS can use the card.
