Hello there,

My configuration: Win2000 with NW-Server 7.0 running. NW writes on a single
LTO drive (no library).

At 22:00 the backup starts and finishes at about 22:30. Then at 6:30 the
tape is ejected with command 'nsrmm -j'. Now all this
nsrmmd diagnostic messages appear (see below). It can take 30 to 40 minutes
until the messages stop. The tape is ejected right after the nsrmm -j
command:

01/19/04 22:34:01 nsrd: write completion notice: Writing to volume T2_MO
complete
01/20/04 06:30:33 nsrd: \\.\Tape0 Eject operation in progress
01/20/04 06:31:24 nsrmmd #1: Diagnostic: Tape device \\.\Tape0 is empty
01/20/04 06:31:34 nsrmmd #1: Diagnostic: Tape device \\.\Tape0 is empty
01/20/04 06:32:14 nsrmmd #1: Diagnostic: Tape device \\.\Tape0 is empty
01/20/04 06:32:24 nsrmmd #1: Diagnostic: Tape device \\.\Tape0 is empty
01/20/04 06:33:04 nsrmmd #1: Diagnostic: Tape device \\.\Tape0 is empty
01/20/04 06:33:14 nsrmmd #1: Diagnostic: Tape device \\.\Tape0 is empty

Are you using Auto Media Management on your standalone tape drive? The
messages could be from that, or could be something to do with CDI alerts.
