I'm not to familiar with NT4, so forgive me.  Here are a couple of options
to try:

Make sure that no other clients configured on your Networker server have the
same alias specified under their Preferences tab.  I believe this was a
problem I had once that generated authtype nsrexec errors.

Other than that, you can try running the following on the failing client
system.  If you see some errors stating that client XXXXX is NOT XXXXX, then
there is a resolution problem somewhere.

  savefs.exe -s <networker-server> -c <client-name> -g <client's group> -p
-l full -R -vvvvv

If no luck with that, then blank your hosts file on the failing client
system and paste-in the contents of a default-installation NT4 hosts file.
I've seen some Networker issues due to tabs in host files, etc.  This also
solved an authtype nsrexec problem for me once.
