Try setting your inactivity timeout to 0 so it won't timeout. See if
it ever finishes. Then adjust your timeout accordingly. We have
filesystems that take NetWorker a long time to search very deep
directory structures. I had my inactivity timeout set to 480 minutes
and that was not long enough ...
