According to Legato, 4.0 also does Microsoft Exchange 200 Server and
Microsoft Exchange 2000 Enterprise Server.

The Exchange 4.0 module is for Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003.
It is worth upgrading to this version on Exchange 2000, as it makes the
error messages more meaningful.

The different Networker Exchange modules are Exchange version specific.

That is

2.0 backs up Exchange 5.5
3.0 backs up Exchange 2000
4.0 backs up Exchange 2003

In Exchange 2000+ there is no DS. All this is in Active Directory.
Therefore you need to back up the Domain Controller to get the Directory
info.

Subject: [Networker] MS Exchange Savesets

There are different definable savesets depending on the version of the
Exchange Module (2.x 3.x). First off, does anyone know how to tell which
version of the module we have?? Is it dependent on the version of server
(we have 6.1.3)?

We are trying to configure the savesets to back up the DS information
(users, groups and such) but not the actual emails (IS stuff?). In module
ver 2 this seems simple, just select msexch:DS and not msexch:IS but in
version 3 it becomes very confusing.

Is anyone else doing this or know how?

Thanks,
