Evan,
        I went through this a few years back. I don't know if things
have changed, I think they probably haven't, but Legato didn't recommend
doing it. 

        Maybe best to use this as an opportunity to 'start afresh',
clean system and empty databases. Connect a standalone tape drive to
your old system and only wind it up if you need to do a restore. You'll
have to keep the old system hanging around until all of the media has
been recycled.

        Solution may sound drastic, but it's not as bad as it sounds, an
alternative may be to scan in the tapes, but I reckon that's not a
reasonable thing to do.

        Whatever you choose, good luck.

I'm running legato7 server on win2000

I need to move the server to solaris asap

How do I move the indexes, clients, etc ?

I will be connecting my existing jukebox to the new server.

I tried "mmrecov" but it didn't work and complained about the windows
index pathnames being invalid on solaris.

Please help !!!!
