        I understand it will allow you to have as many advanced file
devices as you like providing the total space used by these is less than
1TB.

Due to slow laptop backups 450 kB/s and LTO-2 drives I want to backup to
disk for those. Running Networker 7 on solaris 8.

Disks added but creating a file type device needs a license.

Question: I found the ceapest license DiskBackup Option Tier 1; less
than 1  Tb which will do for me and costs approx 2000 Euro (enduser).

Will that also enable advanced file devices or is that a separate
license
