I am having problems with one of my servers. It a Dell 8450 (8x700MHz PII
Xeon with 8GB RAM and 5 NICS) with 1.4TB diskspace running Windows 2000
Advanced Server using the /PAE memory switch. The only application is
ExtremeZ-IP which is a AFP Server for Windows 2000.

4 of the NICS are teamed together and the 5th nic is a fiber GigE.

I cannot consistently get more than 3-4 MB/s. The 5th Nic is used solely
for backups. I am backing up to Networker 7 running on Windows 2000 with 3
LTO1 drives. When backing up other servers, I can get 14MB/s routinely.
The users of the 8450 all complain the server is slow when backups are
running and the performance returns to normal when I stop backups.

Does anyone have ideas or suggesting for troubleshooting.

Thanks
