Licensing is based on the system tiers defined by HP. See
http://licensing.hp.com/swl/view.slm?page=syschart for the tiers. Tier 1 =
workgroup, tier 2 = departmental, tier 3 = enterprise.

Subject: [Networker] OpenVMS storage node licenses

Hi,

Can someone shed some light on how the OpenVMS storage node licenses
work? I can see 4 types: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4. Is it like
the SQL licenses, meaning dependent of the number of CPU's ?

Thanks,
Koen
