So when you mention braking up All into individual directories, are you
referring to listing the individual volumes out instead of the ALL?

Yes, a saveset of All on a Netware client will yield 1 savestream for
each
volume;  SYS:, USERS: etc..

Since we had one big USERS volume we broke this up into its top level
dirs
as savesets to get better parallelism.

That said, even with that, we were only able to achive 5MB-8MB/sec;
with
a Gigabit card (apparently an older one as was pointed out in this
thread).

Perhaps newer Netware servers and releases get better performance?
