Why dont you just direct connect the Netapp to one of the drives (via scsi)
in the P2000 and make it an NDMP device controlled by your backup server?
That is what we do with a P1000, it is a SCSI controlled jukebox with 4
NDMP drives each attached to an EMC datamover.  No SnapImage necessary.
