Sometimes recycling the power works for but others times I have to delete
the devices and run jbconfig again.

I had the same problem before. What I did is to kill the procedure at
command line. Then reset the jukebox. It should be OKay. If you still got
problem, try recyle the power.
I just experienced a problem that is somewhat common.  My overnight
backups hung up for some reason on cloning--the GUI monitor showed that
clones were occurring, but the jukebox was idle.  My backup groups did

Fixing it isn't really the problem.  Had I stopped the group before I
did the reset, I might not have had the confusion.  In any case, I
stopped the server process, cleaned out the /nsr/tmp files, and
restarted the server and all was well.  This might not be an option for
 servers in constant use.  I'm more interested in knowing why it is
that doing a jukebox reset from the Autochanger operations menu doesn't
properly communicate the changed state of the jukebox to the main GUI /
monitor.
