Sorry I forget to mention something. I already used 'savetime' parameter:
"..
mminfo -a -r 'volume, savetime' > /tmp/nsr/volumes/savetime.txt
.."
But I only found media that still browsable.
For example, for this pool -IN01_DB.xxx- we have 82 tape media (001 - 082).
With above command, we only get tape media list from IN01_DB.078 (since
24-Sep-2003) to IN01_DB.082 (until 30-Sep-2003).
Whereas we need the complete list from first tape; not only browsable tape
media.
In other words, if networker GUI get the complete list for this complete info,
how we can get it from command line; so we can save it on file.
After that we can handle it from spreadsheet program rather than writing
one-by-one
those info (beginning and end of backup time) from GUI to the
table/spreadsheet. :-P
Thank you for your supports and cooperation.

Subject: [Networker] Mminfo and its data backup reporting capabilities
Hallo All,
I need to create a tape list report for current BR systems.
So far I'm using mminfo command:
"..
mminfo -a -r 'volume,barcode,pool,written,%used,read'
..
And the result like below:
-------------+-------------+----------------+--------+-----+-------
volume barcode pool written (%) read
-------------+-------------+----------------+--------+-----+-------
IN01_DB.001 A0000003 IN01_DB_POOL 72 GB 100% 0 KB
IN01_DB.002 A0000004 IN01_DB_POOL 62 GB 100% 0 KB
-------------+-------------+----------------+--------+-----+-------
.."
>From above result I will use volume, barcode and written (GB) and % value.
In the report, I want to add two more columns (beginning and end of backup date
for
each tape) like below:
"..
-----+---------------+-------------+----------------------------
---+-----------
No Name Barcode Backup Date
Usage
Begin End
-----+---------------+-------------+-----------------+--------------+------------
1 IN01_DB.001 A0000003 17-Feb-2003 13-Mar-2003
72 GB (100%)
2 IN01_DB.002 A0000004 26-Feb-2003 8-Mar-2003
62 GB (100%)
-----+---------------+-------------+-----------------+--------------+------------
.."
Is there any command (or parameter) to get those additional info faster?
We use those data to get rough average of tapes usage; how much full or 100%
media
during some periode.
Because, so far I must look at networker GUI --> Volumes and fill in begginning
and
end of backup date field for each tape media in spreadsheet.
It is wasting time but I must do that, since I did not know better way until
now. :-)
I really appreciate for your quick response. *smile*
Thank you for your supports and cooperation.
