I don't think that cloning 'by volume' is an available option.
Are you only looking for a faster way to make duplicate tapes?  or is your
prime objective here something different than that?

I seem to remember a discussion over which was the faster way to clone. I
am currently
using the ssid, but I am thinking it may be faster cloning the volumes.

Has anyone tested this?
