That's strange (but nothing surprises me with Netware clients).  For what
its worth, here's a Netware directive (defined on our unix server) for one
of out Netware clients.   Be sure in the client setup to have it use this
directive.   Our Netware clients were Netware 4.x .

<< "USERS:" >>
   +nullasm: ME
   +nullasm: RN
   +nullasm: MACUTILI
   +nullasm: ARCHIVE/ME-ARCH


This tells it to skip these subdirs on the USERS volume.  Note that on
unix it seemed to like forward slashes.  All caps were important as well
as limiting them to 8 characters.

So for the example I saw in this thread I'd try:

<< "USER:" >>
   +nullasm: GROUP/AAV_HSB

or perhaps:

<< "USERS:GROUP" >>
   +nullasm: AAV_HSB


Something should work eventually..
