Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. You are correct these are simple,
1 group 3 client nightly fulls. Completion of the group=completion for the
day and ejection of the tape for offsite transport. Do you happen to know
if eject sleep begins counting at tape mount or at the end of writing? I
won't be able to use it if the former is the case as the tapes are mounted
in the morning for a 9pm backup.

Thanks,
--Shawn

Shawn,

Do remember that Eject Sleep works when there is no activity sent to the
drive, therefore times out and just ejects the tapes. But your request was
to eject the tape "upon completion of a group".

So, in a simple scenerio whereby you have only one client and one group and
you want the tapes to come out after the backup completes, then the Eject
Sleep would be the way to go.
Else, you will have to use savepnpc and run the batch script to eject the
drive. However, in the script, you need to find out which drive exactly that
you want to eject. nsrjb commands would be the thing to look at.

David

Terry, the Networker help file says this:

Eject Sleep -- Define the number of seconds for a jukebox to sleep
        after an eject operation.

Isn't the question that's being asked about something that happens
_before_ en eject operation?
