[Networker] RE: [Networker] NSR sees a tape, which isn´t there

Hi,

Another way to achieve the result:

Open nwadmin and go to media -> device. Disable stuck device.
when no activity on your jukebox, then go back to jukebox windows and select 
your lib.
enabled detailed view view -> detail).

Then scroll down to a set of 3 fields
called loaded barcode, loaded volume and loaded slot.
Each line per drive.

Look at the line that is corresponding to the stuck drive
into your lib and make the line empty. NOT DELETE, EMPTY.
Do the same for the 3 fields, emptying loaded barcode,
loaded volume and slot and apply.

Then reenable the drive and reinventory the lib (nsrjb -I).

You could use also nsrjb -HE but with the stuck device enabled.
If not, it will not reset it.

Hi,

is there a possibility to unmount a drive with sun solaris 8.
I have a Storagetek L700 and and NSR 6.1.3.
when I perform a nsrjb -H(E) it doesn´t react. 
In horizon I can see that the tape isn´t in the drive, with NSR it is in a 
drive.
I restartet NSR, but with no effect.

Any suggestions?
