I am not familiar with the 280R but we are running an E450 and we recently
evaluated a V880.  My recommendation is to look at the environmental
characteristics of both.  The v880 pumps out a lot of heat....I mean a lot
of heat.  It pumps out about 2800 - 6500 BTU/hr depending on configuration.
