As I was saying...

1) We have multiple adv_file devices because we need to use more than one
tape drive (we have a 4-drive jukebox) for cloning/staging.  Without at
least 1 adv_file dev/tape dev, we wouldn't be able to finish the tape stuff
in time.

2) Because we have multiple adv_file devices, a backup may stall waiting
for disk space on one filesystem while another is 90% empty (this got
me paged over the past weekend).

Any thoughts?
