Good suggestion!  I faked an /etc/hosts entry on server and made it point to
the IP of the fresh install, added it to Aliases and then used the original
client resource.  command line recover (version 6.0.2) complains when using
-N "SYSTEM DB" option (as descibed in the manual), but the GUI utility
works.

Of course, NetWorker now doesn't have access to the original server but that
is not a big problem unless I forget to reverse the changes.
