Hi networkers,
I got strange values for mediafile information on some savesets:
Here is an example
mminfo -q "ssid=413573889" -r "mediafile,mediarec,fragflags,client,name"
file rec fl client name
4294967295 6796 mb bcewg2 K:\
421 3274 hb bcewg2 K:\
424 6796 mb bcewg2 K:\
426 1 tb bcewg2 K:\
I notice 4294967295 is the max value for an unsigned int, so may be i
encounter a bug ??
So i run scanner -i on this particular SSID
scanner -i -f 421 -S 413573889 \\.\Tape0
scanner: scanning dlt1 tape EU0032 on \\.\Tape0
scanner: dlt1 tape EU0032 already exists in the media index
scanner: ssid 413573889: scan complete
scanner: ssid 413573889: 2197 KB, 24 file(s)
I run the same mminfo command like before scanner:
mminfo -q "ssid=413573889" -r "mediafile,mediarec,fragflags,client,name"
file rec fl client name
421 3274 hb bcewg2 K:\
424 6875 mb bcewg2 K:\
425 4088 mb bcewg2 K:\
426 1 tb bcewg2 K:\
The thing i don't understand is the position of the second part of the
saveset. It was on file 424 record 6796 before scanner and now it is on the
same file ( 424 ) but the record number change ( 6875 ), first and last part of
the savesets remaining the same.
Do i have to consider since a mediafile value is "wrong" that all "middle
parts" of a saveset are wrong?? and do scanner command results are the truth ??
Many thanks for your answers.
Francis
