let me give you some additionnal information:
hello bart
let me give you some additionnal information:
Every day i look at the tapes written during the night and i
search ( via a perl script ) the saved savesets.
Tape by Tape i build a file containing the list of the ssid to
clone. once these files are built i launch the command
nsrclone -b clone_pool_name -S -f file_of_ssid_to_clone
i agree with you with the meaning of the flags, so for me i
use the first flag only if equals to c ( complete ) or h ( head )
and the second ( b : browsable (savesets ) or r : recoverable
( indexes and bootstrap ) )
As i don't have an up to date documentation ( i have 5.5 docs
and my server is 6.0.1 ).I wonder if the fragflags values can
have additionnal values in 6.0
Hope i was clear enough
thanks for your answers
>To check which savesets are to be cloned, i look at the saveset's
fragflags:
> if cb or hb, it is a data saveset so i do clone it.
> if cr it is a bootstrap or an index and i do clone it too
Where do you get the relationship between the fragflags and the
requirement for cloning ???
The first letters stands for the part of the saveset contained
on the
volume (complete, head, middle or trail)
The second letter for the save set status (browsable, recoverable,
aborted or incomplete)
